## Introduction&#x20;

Catalyst Working Groups are led by YOU the Cardano Community, in close collaboration and coordination with the Catalyst Working Groups project team made up of IOG Catalyst team, Sustainable ADA and Rare Evo.

The reason why this working group initiative has been started is to empower the Cardano community. Working group attendees will voice opinions and provide data points to help shape the scope of future funding rounds.   &#x20;

After the online and global in-person workshops, outcomes will be shared with the wider Cardano community to ideate and define effective solutions and focuses to accelerate the opportunities for innovators and builders, building on Cardano.

As not all community members can attend workshops, no important decisions are made there. Instead we’ll take the opportunity from these workshops to generate a backlog of changes or upgrades which push Catalyst’s decentralized innovation fund, for the Cardano ecosystem, further.<br>
