Miro Onboarding

There are a few steps each participant needs to make before they start interacting with the Miro.

  1. Make sure each member has filled out the survey about data usage.

  2. Make sure to only edit and add info to the Miro in your working group's specific working area. This will help us keep the information and outputs organized.

  3. Make sure that before entering the Miro, each Mini-Working Group is chosen and a Lead and Scribe have been picked.

Step #1

Member Sign-In:

  • Sign-In to the Mini Working Group. Only sign into the place where your group number is designated.

  • Only add data to the specific space your Mini CWG has on the Miro Board. (eg. add info under group #1 if you're in group #1).

  • Fill out your info before using the miro. Based on the Mini Working Group number, add your info to your Mini Working Group's category.

Step #2

Location on Map

  • Click on the Map.

  • Follow the Link and add your country of origin/home location to the global map of CWG participants.

Step #3

  • Find the work area for your Mini-Working Group.

  • Begin the activity by adding a meme of each participant's current mood. This will allow each participant to get used to Miro and how it works.

  • Follow the Mini-Working Group Guide.

  • Make sure you have a Lead and a Scribe to support the work flow of the Mini-Working Group.

Step #4

Community Group Sharing:

  • Mini-Working Groups share their thoughts and suggestions to the whole community group, and share their reasoning.

  • Each Mini-Working Group Lead will summarize and talk about their main responses for each question they discussed.

Step #5

Community Voting

  • A community vote will take place. Each participant will be able to vote.

  • This will help hone in on the ideas the community is most passionate, concerned and inspired by.
