  1. Mini CWG How-To

Mini Working Groups Session #1

Each mini-group will choose a lead person that will help with the success of each group, and be the nominated spokesperson.

Steps:

25-minute task #1

  • Allow each member 15-20 minutes to think about the individual question on their own and provide answers on the Miro.

  • Allow each member 5-10 minutes to review the data connected to each funding category. Small conversions can start with this information.

Lead:

  • Sets timers and reviews the data.

  • Allow each member time to provide answers to questions.

Scribe:

  • Help participants add answers.

  • Write down key things that came up.

5-minutes overview Task #2

  • Lead of the group will help with a discussion about the answers to each question.

  • Each member will explain their reasoning for the answers and have the chance to bring these ideas to the entire mini-group.

Lead:

  • Run a discussion about outcomes.

  • Help members express their ideas.

Scribe:

  • Write down key points and add data that connect to the participant's statements

25-minute task #2

  • Amongst the mini group, discuss suggestions for each question and add them to the Miro Board.

  • Add the answers to the Discussion Questions for each answer.

Discussion Question #1: Why did you add this answer?

Discussion Question #2: What value can be derived from your findings?

Lead:

  • Help lead discussions and keep track of time.

  • Ask the members the discussion questions.

Scribe:

  • Add answers if they are not already added.

5-minute Wrap-Up

Wrap up the discussion and get ready for a break before Mini-Working Group session #2.

Lead:

  • Lead a discussion about the answers.

  • Set timer.

  • Help the team wrap up the session.

Scribe:

  • Fill out the data on why this was an answer and what value may come from it.
